Appreciation

it’s ironic how much we take our loved ones for granted. coming to college, for me, was the reason why i distanced myself from my family and friends from back home. my excuse was because i was starting a new life; i was busy doing school and making new friends. i am finishing college now and i see myself trying to make my parents feel like i appreciate them more than ever. because throughout my stay in college i’ve realized that no one will love you as much as your parents do and no one is as reliable as they are. no matter how old you get. so, always love and remember your parents; especially if they are really good to you.

happy monday, friends.
